Data of the Released Revision Is Changed When Performing Check-In of the File After Upgrading to MCAD Connector 3.6.4 (Doc ID 2996508.1)

Symptoms

On MCAD Connector 3.6.4, MCAD data of the older revision of the part is updated after performing the check-in of the file from MCAD Connector.
During check-in of MCAD file for the new revision (i.e. Rev 5) of the part against Engineering Change Order (ECO), MCAD data changed observed in the released revision of the part (i.e. Rev 4) in Design Change Order (DCO).
Data for the released revision (i.e. Rev 4) is lost.


The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. From Web Client, open ECO, go to Affected Items tab, and select the part, and go to Attachment tab, and open {part_number}.SLDDRW, and do Actions > Load to CAD
  2. Give in Login username and password, and OK.
  3. Agile Load Preview window opens. Select "Latest Released"
  4. Go to Workspace, and create a new Workspace.
  5. Click Load to CAD.
  6. The drawing file is opened in Solidworks. See the drawing shows Rev 5.
  7. Save Preview.
  8. Agile Save Preview window shows up. Checkin file from MCAD connector, and see the design is added to Rev 5 of the Part.
  9. Click Continue.
  10. Save to PLM Successful screen shows up.
  11. Go back to Web Client, and refresh.
  12. Open the Part, and go to Attachment tab. From the Rev drop down field, see pending revision (5) is created
  13. Select the latest Rev 4 of Manufacturing Change Order (MCO) revision, and see the Modified Date of {part_number}.SLDPRT and {part_number}.SLDRW are updated to today's date. Folder version is 13
  14. Select the other revisions. see the Modified Date of {part_number}.SLDPRT and {part_number}.SLDRW are updated to today's date. This is the same not only with MCO revision but also with DCO revision.


Changes

Upgraded to MCAD Connector 3.6.4.
