Known Issues with slee-ctrl and pslist Output (Doc ID 2997699.1)

Last updated on JANUARY 15, 2024

Applies to:

Oracle Communications Convergent Charging Controller - Version 6.0.0 to 15.0.0.0.0 [Release 6.0 to 15.0.0]
Oracle Communications Network Charging and Control - Version 4.3.0 to 15.0.0.0.0 [Release 4.3 to 15.0.0]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

On all versions of Oracle Communications Network Charging and Control (OCNCC or NCC) and Oracle Communications Convergent Charging Controller (OC3C or 3C), ps_list.sh/pslist and slee-ctrl are 2 scripts that are used to list and display NCC/3C process related information.

This is extremely useful to determine if the correct/expected number of processes are running to know if the system is experiencing any issues.

In some of the newer NCC/3C releases, and on Linux, both these scripts have issues which will be documented in this article.
