Goal
On 12PS4 IP16 during Subscriber Notification Request (SNR) generation where there is difference if behavior based on the usage flow between parent and member as stated below in the scenario.
With 1st scenario ,One could see SNR(Out) getting generated during the 2nd update right after top up purchase when data balance was available.
But with 2nd scenario, there is no SNR(Out) generated like scenario 1.
Scenario 1:
1.Created parent account with B0006 (Throttle Bundle) with 10Mb
2.Created member account with DB0001
3.create DSG
4.Parallel session by Parent and Member
5.Member depletes the 10MB
SNR and TBN triggered
6.Purchase Top up (NETS01) with 30MB
SNR for both and RAR triggered for parent only
7.Perform 10MB Usage from Parent
Validate reservations-- no bucket impacted
8.Perform 10MB from Member
Validate reservations-- no bucket impacted
9.Perform 10MB Usage from Parent
Actual behavior 1--:One got outofallowance SNR for both and parent bucket not impacted (no bucket impacted)
10.Perform 10MB from Member
Actual behavior 2: One could see 20MB impacted from member bucket (it should be 10MB)
11.Perform 10MB Usage from Parent
Only TBN got triggered for both and we could see 10MB impacted from Parent bucket
Scenario 2:
1.Created parent account with B0006 (Throttle Bundle) with 10Mb
2.Created member account with DB0001
3.Create DSG
4.Parallel session by Parent and Member
5.Member depletes the 10MB -SNR and TBN triggered
6.Purchase Top up (NETS01) with 30MB -SNR for both and RAR triggered for parent only
7.Perform 10MB Usage from Member
8.No impact on top up bucket as this is throttled
9.Perform 10MB from Parent
10.No impact on top up bucket as this is throttled
11.Perform 10MB from Member
No SNR Out of Allowance triggered and One can see a split impact in top up bucket.
Why should one see such behavior for these 2 scenarios ?
