(Doc ID 2999082.1)
Last updated on JANUARY 26, 2024
Applies to:
Oracle Communications BRM - Elastic Charging Engine - Version 12.0.0.5.0 and laterInformation in this document applies to any platform.
Symptoms
In the current scenario, usage shared discount is not working if parent set to /account.
Discount Sharing Group (DSG) was created with PIN_FLD_PARENT set to /account:
OWNER_ACCOUNT_OBJ_ID0 POID_TYPE PARENT_TYPE NAME SERVICE_OBJ_TYPE SERVICE_OBJ_ID0
------------------------------ ------------------------- ---------------- ----------------------------------------------- ----------------------- ---------------
2525167 /group/sharing/discounts /account (DO) DISCOUNT_DPX90 - Usage Counters /service/telco/gsm 2653318
2525167 /group/sharing/discounts /account (DO) DISCOUNT_DPX90 - Usage Counters
As can be seen above, "(DO) DISCOUNT_DPX90 - Usage Counters" is created for /service/telco/gsm service.
NOTE:
--------
If DSG is created with PIN_FLD_PARENT set to /service - everything is OK and discount is getting applied.
EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
-----------------------
DSG should be applied (for a service discount) even if PIN_FLD_PARENT is set to /account.
