Rollover Bucket Of Previous Month Is Getting Ended By The Change Validity In PS4 (Doc ID 2999368.1)

The problem is that the rollover bucket from the previous month is getting ended and this is happening for scenario where user cancel existing bundle/product and purchase new one which would be effective from next bill cycle.


1. The customer made a purchase for the current month.
2. Canceled the previous data and plan product by using PCM_OP_BILL_SET_PRODINFO, specifying a future date.
3. After that ran the pin_cycle_fees -defer_cancel command.

Earlier some solution provided involved setting a flag because a cycle forward event was associated with it. However, during testing, it was discovered that there is no cycle forward event associated, resulting in no refund when the pin_cycle_fee utility is run at midnight on the last day of the month.
