Symptoms
When deleting an item from a filtered Resource Assignment result, the following prompt occurs.
All the labor/non labor resource(s) have been deleted for the activity. Do you wish to reset the labor/non labor units of the activity to 0?
If Yes is selected, the Resource Assignment is deleted, other Resource Assignments remain with Actual Units updated to 0, and the Activity's Actual Unit is also changed to 0. The prompt occurs only when deleting a Resource Assignment found using a filter. If a filter is not used to find the resource to be deleted, the prompt does not occur.
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
- In P6 Web, open a project.
- Select an Activity.
- On the Assignments tab, find a Resource Assignment record using a filter.
- Delete this Resource Assignment.
- The reported prompt occurs.
