Symptoms

When attempting to import XER file to P6 professional connecting to SQL server DB,
the following error occurs.

ERROR

Event Code: PRMDB-1706-6
Message:
  PRM DBAccess Error: SQL State: 1, SQL Error Code:
  3621, Level: 0, Procedure: , Line: 1
  The statement has been terminated.
  SQL State: 6, SQL Error Code: 8115, Level: 16,
  Procedure: , Line: 1
  Arithmetic overflow error converting float to data type
  numeric.


STEPS

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Login to P6 Professional connecting to SQL server DB.
  2. Try to import XER file.
