Smtp_client Does Not Properly Support Pipelining (Doc ID 3012546.1)

Outbound message rejection results in a 10-minute timeout, causing a message backlog in the queue. MTA not following SMTP when talking to another MTA.

Here is the test case:

Internal "core-routing" MTA systems connect to external "MX" systems and send a MAIL FROM which is rejected because "mailfromdnsverify" is set on the channel receiving the connection on that end.
The MTA systems go on to do RCPT TO, even though MAIL FROM was rejected.
Then there is a 10-minute timeout while the MTA waits for a response that never comes because MAIL FROM was rejected and RCPT TO was rejected.
