Error 'Unable to deploy configuration file' When Attempting to Make and Save Changes to the Unifier Configurator (Doc ID 3013965.1)

Symptoms

On : 23.12.2.0 version, Unifier Admin Mode

When attempting to save a change in the Unifier configurator, the following error occurs.

ERROR

Unable to deploy configuration file

The following error occurred while executing this line:
D:\<Unifierfolder>\configurator\build.xml:...: The following error occurred while executing this line:
D:\<Unifierfolder>\configurator\build.xml:... Failed to copy D:\<Unifierfolder>\configurator\etc\apps\META-INF\application.xml.vpp to D:\U<Unifierfolder>\apps\META-INF\application.xml due to D:\<Unifierfolder>\apps\META-INF\application.xml and the corrupt D:\<Unifierfolder>\apps\META-INF\application.xml couldn't be deleted.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Navigate to Unifier server and open the Unifier Configurator tool.
  2. Save the needed changes.
  3. The Error message noted above is displayed.
