Symptoms
Saving any change in Gantt Chart is failing.
Below error observed in Java console:
java.rmi.RemoteException: Rejected to deserialize class: java.text.SimpleDateFormat; nested exception is:
java.io.InvalidClassException: Rejected to deserialize class: java.text.SimpleDateFormat
at com.agile.ui.rmi.RMIServlet.doPost(RMIServlet.java:96)
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Upgrade to RUP26.
2. Login to Web Client - http(s)://<FQDN>:<port>/Agile/PLMServlet.
3. Go to any Activity and launch Gantt chart.
4. Modify some value and click on save.
5. Save fails without any error.
6. Error seen in Java console.
