Receiver Process Contention Opening File In Hotdirectory (Doc ID 3020756.1)

Symptoms

On : 12.7 version, Enterprise Edition

Copy a unit of work (300+ xml files), system process them with no issues. However, if the same set were dropped to hotdirectory again, receiver reports error, see sample below:

"903:java.io.FileNotFoundException: E:\Oracle\odee_2\documaker\hotdirectory\statement-07463-000000119.xio (The process cannot access the file because it is being used by another process)"

This occurs randomly for several files. No other process/script were accessing hotdirectory than Receiver.
