Trap Aggregators Stopped Processing Events (Doc ID 3021596.1)

Symptoms

Trap events ceased being received from all trap aggregators in one environment while traps from the aggregators in an alternate environment continue to come through. There are no errors logged, and when restarting the affected aggregators, those traps started coming through again.

Changes

The database was shutdown and restarted approximately 50 seconds later. This can cause the Aggregators to fail over if it was the Event Database that was restarted.
