Last updated on MAY 13, 2024

Applies to:

Oracle Agile PLM Framework - Version 9.3.6.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

Need clarification for the following behavior:
Assume there is an item called P00001 in two different revisions: rev.1 and rev. 2 Also assume a component of this item called T0001 in two revisions: rev. a and rev. b.
Suppose the component T00001 at revision a belongs to the BOM of P00001 at revision 1 and the component T00001 at revision a belongs to the BOM of P00001at revision 2.
When looking at the Where Used tab of the item T00001 at revision a, one sees P00001 at revision 1. However, when looking at the Where Used tab of the item T00001 at revision b, one sees P00001 at revision 1 as well. Should it be P00001 at revision 2?
