Why is There A Difference in Sum of Resource Hours between the Plan Output vs the Dashboard? (Doc ID 3023786.1)

Symptoms

When the start date and end date of an operation fall on different days, APCC displays the value of Resource Hours as Daily Hours.

For Example:

In Responsibility  Advanced Supply Chain Planner / Supply Chain Plan / Workbench in the Resource Requirement form with an operation's start date of 2023/11/06 07:39:00, an end date of 2023/11/07 00:09:00.

Column Daily Hours is 8.250165 and then compare to Advanced Planning Command Center / Resource Dashboard and find Resource Hours is 16.50033.

Result: Resource Hours are doubled
