'Remaining Start cannot be earlier than Actual Start.' Error When Updating Finish Date Though Remaining Start and Actual Start Are the Same Date/Time (Doc ID 3026482.1)

In P6 Web, when updating the Finish date for an activity the following error is reported though the Remaining Start and the Actual Start are the same date and time.

ERROR

Unable to save changes
Failed saving data. Remaining Start cannot be earlier than Actual Start.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

1. Log-on to P6 Web.
2. Open a project.
3. Select an activity.
4. Note the Actual Start and Remaining Start are the same date with the same timestamp.
5. Change the Finish Date.
6. Click Save.
7. Receive error.
