Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

On ALM 8.0.7.4.0, there are two issues found when creating and editing Transaction Strategy rules:

Issue 1. Incorrect 'Created By' and 'Last Modified By' fields:
'Created By' and 'Last Modified By' fields on the transaction strategy rules, are tagged as 'ALMUSER' instead of the users' ID, despite the rules being created and modified by the same user.

Issue 2. When editing existing Transaction Strategy rule, when attempting to add another product definition, the product dimension screen does not show the ALM product hierarchy and no dimension members are displayed.

The issues can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

Issue 1: Create any new Transaction Strategy rule --> notice that Created By and Last Modified By is ALMUSER
If copying existing rule, Created By and Last Modified By does show correct user. However, upon edit and save of the copied Transaction Strategy rule, Last Modified By is again updated to ALMUSER.

Issue 2: Edit existing Transaction Strategy rule and Add another row. Click on button to choose product dimension member and popup screen does not show any dimension members.
