Getting Errors on LIBFCMAIN When Executing Ofspa on the Server (Doc ID 303240.1)

Symptoms

For Oracle Performance Analyzer (PA) 4.5, when executing the "ofspa" executable directly on the server from the directory /<OFSA Home>/bin, you receive the following errors:

exec(): 0509-036 Cannot load program ofspa because of the following errors:
0509-150 Dependent module /lib/liberrlog.a(liberrlog.o) could not be loaded.
0509-152 Member liberrlog.o is not found in archive


exec(): 0509-036 Cannot load program ofspa because of the following errors:
0509-150 Dependent module libfcmain.a(libfcmain.o) could not be loaded.
0509-022 Cannot load module libfcmain.a(libfcmain.o).
0509-026 System error: A file or directory in the path name does not exist.


Note: The errors above are specific to the IBM AIX environment.  You will get similar errors in other operating systems. For example, you will receive the following error in Sun Solaris:

libfcmain.so: open failed: No such file or directory
