Applies to:
Oracle Communications Billing and Revenue Management - Version 15.0.0.0.0 and laterInformation in this document applies to any platform.
Goal
Oracle Communications Billing and Revenue Management version 15 allows the creation of custom life cycles to manage service status at a detailed level. for example, you can use statuses such as Dormant, Credit Expired, and Fraud Investigated to indicate the exact state of a service and control how the service is used.
As part of this process the usage of the PCM_OP_BAL_POL_CHECK_LIFECYCLE_STATE opcode is advised.
The input to this opcode is basically an entire event flist, including PIN_FLD_BAL_INFO. This opcode would be called after impacting the balances to check for the updated balance and do the required state transitions in non CALC_ONLY mode. The PCM_OP_CUST_UPDATE_SERVICES opcode would be called to perform state transition.
One of the fields set by PCM_OP_BAL_POL_CHECK_LIFECYCLE_STATE is PIN_FLD_SERVICE_STATE_EXPIRATION_T. How is this field being updated?
