Error "The items you have selected don't have any projects" When Attempting to Open a Project in P6 Web (Doc ID 3032912.1)

Symptoms

When attempting to open a project in P6 EPPM Web, the following error occurs:

The items you have selected don't have any projects. You must select at least one project.

The following error is also found in the <P6 EPPM home>\p6\WebAccessLogs\P6WebAccess.html log file:
