Symptoms

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR

When scheduling (F9) a large project in P6 Professional, the progress bar hangs at 10% for several minutes before completing.

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR

Scheduling used to complete in 10 sec.

STEPS
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Click F9 to initiate Scheduling.
  2. The first 10% shows no response for about 2.5 minutes.
  3. Scheduling completes after 3 minutes.
