Last updated on JULY 31, 2024

Applies to:

Oracle Financial Services Revenue Management and Billing Cloud Service - Version 5.1.0.0.0 to 6.0.0.0.0 [Release 5.0 to 6]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

On ORMB v5.1.0.0.0, Usage Account of one access group is visible to users in other access groups in different zones in UI.

There are multiple Usage Accounts where a few accounts belong to one Access Group and the others to different Access Group.
The user does not have access to any of the access groups. If the user logs in from the first access group, the usage accounts belonging to the other access group are visible as well to this user.
This is occurring for all Users in general, not for any specific User for new or existing records.

It is expected that the Usage Account of one Access Group should not be visible to users with other Access Groups in any zones in UI.

Note: Access Group is restricted at Account level.
Due to this, search for a Person (belong to a different access group) is working. But searching for an Account gives a blank (even when searched with its linked person).
Custom code involved is to just label UI Field Name. So the behavior is within Base - Customer 360 zone and Control Central zone.

STEPS
----------
1. Create a new user from one access group.
2. Search for this user created via other access group from Customer 360 screen.
3. Search for an existing user created via some other access group from Customer 360 screen.
