"Field Activity Does Not Exist" Error Encountered On Auto-complete Field Activities (Doc ID 3037309.1)

"Field Activity Does Not Exist" Error encountered on Auto-complete Field Activities

When a FA is created in CCB, it publishes out the FA to Fusion by calling the SOA webservice. Once the FA is created in CCB and published out, it commits the FA in CCB DB.

In MDM side, the Activity is synchronized and got automatically complete, it publishes out to Fusion for FA Completion. What we are seeing is a race condition between the CCB DB commit
and Fusion sending the FA completion sync request in CCB.

 

ERROR
-----------------------
Error “Referenced FK FA-ID Field Activity ID XXXXXXXXX by table Field Activity does not exist” encountered when Fusion invoke C1FACompletionServiceRequest.
Error is encountered for Field Activities that got automatically completed in MDM upon creation.
Due to this error, no FA Completion Sync Request is sent to CCB resulting to FA stuck on Pending. This impacted the SA start/stop service.
