Symptoms

Invalid Item Types Shown on Multi-Item Service Points

When Items are added to a SP which supports unbadged devices using the SP Multi Item Information Zone a Service Point, the expectation is for only the valid Device Types listed on the Service Point Type to be available on the ‘Item Type’ dropdown. However, a full list of all items configured in the system are shown and the system allows an invalid Item Type to be selected and saved.

In addition to no filtering being performed for the valid Device Types, an operation involving adding a multi-item device to a Service Point takes about 25 seconds which would not be reasonable for a production system.
