Page Three Attributes Showing Time Even Though the Exact Time Is Not Entered (Doc ID 3047886.1)

Symptoms

When user perform an export or search of an object, the result displays date attribute along with time.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Login to Agile Java Client - http(s)://<FQDN>:<port>/JavaClient/start.html
  2. In JavaClient, Enable two Page Three.Date attributes, e.g. Date01 and Date02 for a Problem Report subclass
  3. Set Date01 to "Date Only" format and keep Date02 as "Date and Time" format
  4. Login to Agile Web Client - http(s)://<FQDN>:<port>/Agile/PLMServlet
  5. Create a problem report
  6. Input date values for Date01 and Date02 e.g. Date01: 2024-06-17 Date02: 2024-06-17 12:00:00 AM WEST
  7. Click Actions --> Click Reports --> Create a custom report --> Query out the problem report created before.
  8. Add Page Three.Date01 and Date02 into the report layout
  9. Run the custom report Issue: In the report, Date01 displays as 2024-06-17 01:00:00 AM WEST, which is Date and Time format instead of Date only format.
  10. Query out the problem report in Advanced Search and export the search result Find: Date01 displays as 2024-06-17 (Date only), which is as expected.
