Symptoms
Using: Oracle Communications Messaging Server 8.1.0.1.20230203 64bit (built Feb 3 2023)
Non-ASCII attachment filenames are garbled when the name length is beyond a certain number of bytes. The filename of the .pdf attachment in these emails is very long. When the end-user receives the email, the attachment name is garbled, as well as the contents of the attached file.
It appears that the filename is not decoded properly at the receiving mailbox.
