Symptoms

Content Migration Assistance (CMA) Import for File Request Type (FRT) failing with Error Comparing on running import Jobs

After upgrading DFS Dev environment from RMB 4.0 to 6.1. CMA Import for FRT is not working correctly and causing issue:

Error message:

encountered an error under savepoint migrObjectComparing
java.lang.ClassCastException: java.lang.String cannot be cast to com.splwg.base.api.datatypes.Lookup
at com.splwg.base.support.migration.MoTableDataToSchemaInstanceVisitor.visitLookup(MoTableDataToSchemaInstanceVisitor.java:144) ~[spl-base-4.5.0.1.1.jar:?]

Note that it was working perfectly in earlier versions.
