Goal

Argus upgrade to 8.4.2 fails when executing bridge/841/factorydata/bulk.xml

The fix for Bug 36093338 - Upgrade fails when there is a common documentum_id is present in more than 1 case resolved the below issue:

Problem Description

Upgrade fails when there is a common documentum_id is present in more than 1 case. This issue was observed due to duplicate records created in ARGUS_BRIDGE.FILE_STORE table due to merging the data from CASE_NOTES_ATTACH table.

This was fixed in 8.4.2 upgrade scripts to eliminate duplicate entries in ARGUS_BRIDGE.FILE_STORE table by using the DISTINCT statement.

However, it can still fail if there are also multiple file types or filenames for the same ID.

For example on a query against the case_notes_attach table:

|COUNT(*)|DOCUMENTUM_ID |FILETYPE |
|--------|----------------|---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------|
|3 |0902bc39818292b4|Literature_J1805463 |
|1 |0902bc39818292b4|Literature_J1805463.pdf
