Error "Abnormal program termination" When Running the P6 EPPM Install Wizard in Linux (Doc ID 3050014.1)

Symptoms

When attempting to run the P6 EPPM install Wizard ./runinstaller.sh script on Oracle Linux 9, it immediately crashes with the following error.

Abnormal program termination. An internal error has occured. Please provide the following files to Oracle Support:

"Unknown"
"Unknown"
"Unknown"

The following error can be found in the script's error log:

java.lang.UnsatisfiedLinkError: /tmp/OraInstall2024-09-26_11-13-28AM/oui/lib/linux64/liboraInstaller.so: libnsl.so.1: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

Exception java.lang.UnsatisfiedLinkError: no oraInstaller in java.library.path occurred..
