Dashboard TopN 'Device Group' scope issues when assigning using a non-root device group
Following is the setup:
A 'test-devices' group created and customer user is only assigned to the this group ( via a group restriction ) while 'admin' user has access to all devices
Steps followed and observation made:
1. Create a new dashboard
2. Use the topN panel
3. Select the 'test-devices' group as the device group
4. No topN metrics show up when viewing it as the 'admin' user and error 'Failed to resolve Device group name' is seen in the UI.
5. However, if when viewed as the customer user, the top N metrics show up.
1. Create a new dashboard

4. No topN metrics show up when viewing it as the 'admin' user and error 'Failed to resolve Device group name' is seen in the UI.
5. However, if when viewed as the customer user, the top N metrics show up.
This is a problem because an admin can't visualize the device group topN metrics without logging into as a customer user.
