IP Address Auto Assign Problem Filtering by Network Item

Symptoms
An IP address rule was created with only Network Area. However, the Auto Assign feature does not work when a Network Item value is passed in the IP Address Assignment screen. Auto Assign is not picking up the Network Item value. The IP Address Assignment screen states that selecting a Network Area, Network Item or subnet/host size overrides the settings of the assigned rule so it should.
