Sending Query Parameters In A HTTP GET Request From OSM 7.5 CN System

Goal
In OSM 7.5 CN We are trying to send an http GET request to a target system but is not possible to set the query parameters in the outgoing request.
We are using the function setQueryParameter but seems it does not exists under xquery, could you please direct us to the relevant documentation defining the construction of the outgoing request ? We did not find any information regarding this in the modelling guide and development guide.
