RMS Application Is Not Launching After Java Update (Doc ID 3054969.1)

Symptoms

On : 16.0.3 version, Installation

RMS application is not working after upgraded java to the latest version.
RMS console version is 12.2.1.4.0 and RMS application version is 16.0.3.

 

ERROR
-----------------------
"An error occurred while processing your request. Please contact the system administrator."

 

STEPS
-----------------------
Install the latest version of java. Try opening and logging into RMS.

Tested the system using Version 8 update 401 (build 1.8.9_401-b10) and was able to access the system without error or issue.

Tried downloading and installing latest java version but system will not allow you to install.

 

BUSINESS IMPACT

The issue has the following business impact:
Due to this issue, users cannot login to RMS.
