Symptoms

When attempting to upgrade a P6 EPPM database, using the dbsetup utility, the following error occurs:

ERROR

JobPropertyNotFound: Could not find property PRODUCT.INSTALLED.VERSION.KEY (The job property "PRODUCT.INSTALLED.VERSION.KEY" is not set)

STEPS
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Execute dbsetup.bat.
  2. Enter the administrative user credentials.
  3. Click "Next".
  4. Notice the error.
