(Doc ID 3057430.1)
Last updated on NOVEMBER 08, 2024
Applies to:
Oracle Communications MetaSolv Solution - Version 6.3.1 and laterInformation in this document applies to any platform.
Symptoms
Unable to use equipment with virtual ports for VLAN Administration - moving active (Pending, In service, Suspend) connections from source equipment to another regardless of its specification or in the same or different location. The Grooming process only moves In Service connections in the same location as evidenced by the warning message received when attempting to do so. Replacing does not support the process as evidenced by the warning message received when attempting to do so. Moving does not work either.
Warning Message Grooming
The equipment which you are unassigning from and the
equipment you are assigning to are not in the same location.
Hence cannot groom.
Warning Message Replacing
This feature does not currently support replacing equipment
having one or more virtual ports with an assigned
connection, IP Address, reservation, or condition code.
