On UA version 6.0.4.4.0:

Tools (for Events) is a standard configuration interface for adding, editing, and removing the custom tools that are available to perform actions and processes on a particular event.

The UI path for this interface is Configuration -> Events -> Tools

Customer is using a custom Tool with Path Type as "Local" and Target as "Pop Up". This tool is being used to perform some action on multiple selected events.

The maximal number of events which can be shown in the event list is 1000. When all 1000 events are selected and run the tool, the browser reports following error:
