Last updated on NOVEMBER 11, 2024

Applies to:

Oracle Advanced Supply Chain Planning - Version 12.2.6 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

When running an unconstrained Advanced Supply Chain Planing (ASCP) Plan with output of Production Scheduling (PS) plan as input, ASCP is recalculating the start date of firm planned order published from PS.

ASCP plan should respect the start and end dates published from PS and should not recalculate.

Issue can be reproduced with the following steps:

1. Launch ASCP Plan.

Nav: Advanced Supply Chain Planner (R) -> Supply Chain Plan -> Plans -> Select the plan and click launch.

2. Once the plan completes, navigate to Planner Workbench.

Nav: Advanced Supply Chain Planner (R) -> Supply Chain Plan -> Workbench -> Query the order published from PS.

3. See that the start date of the order does not match with the order start date from PS.
