Error: Call CreateUpdateFileObject() Failed! When Trying to Upload A File To Agile Vault Through WebService (Doc ID 3058831.1)

Symptoms

Try to upload a file in the vault of Agile EDM e6 via webservice UploadFile request, the following error occurs shows up in the uploadFileResponse.xml file:

 

          

<exceptions id="PlmException">

              <message>Error in pre-action-trigger</message>

              <details>Field "Original File Name" must have an entry!</details>

              <rc>53</rc>

           </exceptions>

           <exceptions id="PlmException">

              <message>call createUpdateFileObject() failed! The new checked-in file: 012345 on vault: GdmFiles was deleted!</message>

              <details/>

           </exceptions>

 



 
Steps to reproduce:

1.Run the getFMSVault web Service call
2.Run UploadFile websevice call to upload a file in Agile EDM e6 Vault
3.The above error shows up in the uploadFileResponse.xml file
