Oracle Communications MetaSolv Solution - Version 6.3.1 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

Unable to complete the DD task for an Engineering Work Order (EWO) to disconnect a Group Connection. Attempting to do so results in an error and the order is essentially stuck unless the Group Connection is removed. Note that the Group Connection does not appear on the Service Request Connections window (w_circuit_design_list) opened from the DLRD (RID) task, but its task can be completed without error.

NOTE: The problem described in this document applies to Internal Service Request (ISR) orders too.

Recreation Steps

1. Create new EWO.

2. Click the Manage Connections link on the Work Order Summary page.

3. Click the Disconnect Connection link.

4. Retrieve a known Group Connection (Bandwidth) that is "In Service" and click OK to add it to the order.

5. Click the Manage Tasks link.

6. Click the Assign Tasks link and assign a simple Provisioning Plan with a DLRD and a DD task.

7. Open the DLRD task and note the Group Connection is not displayed.

8. Complete the DLRD task. Note there is no error.

9. Attempt to complete the DD task and note the error.
