Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

There is an issue while importing XML containing a larger number of accounts that reference different discount sharing group (DSG) parents. The data for DSG balance groups is not as expected according to scenarios using opcodes.

Described scenarios happened when large accounts accounts such as 50k in one XML were referencing to DSG of another 50k accounts that are parent accounts.
When tested on smaller number of accounts (for example ten accounts) referencing on one or two DSG parent accounts, accepting membership in DSG works fine. The issue only happens after increasing XML size to real production import values.

In these scenarios owner of discount sharing group is also the parent of the hierarchy for discount sharing group members. discount sharing group are created on owner always, some contain discounts, others do not at the time of migration.
After the migration, DSG members data is fine , but the membership acceptance (balance groups) is not as expected, entire XML of members is referencing the same ordered bal group.
