How To Reject the Entire Multiple MSCC Request If Any MSCC Block Fails With Error 4012 at ECS Level
(Doc ID 3061805.1)
Last updated on DECEMBER 11, 2024
Applies to:
Oracle Communications BRM - Elastic Charging Engine - Version 15.0.0.0.0 and laterInformation in this document applies to any platform.
Goal
The user has tested Short Message Service (SMS) usage processing for a scenario involving two MSCC blocks: one for application SMS (Rating Group 89100) and one for normal SMS (Rating Group 89000). When triggered a usage request where the account only had enough balance for the normal SMS leg, the application SMS leg (RG 89100) failed, but the normal SMS leg was processed successfully, and a Call Data Record (CDR) was generated for the normal SMS.
The user expects that if either leg fails, the entire request should fail with a 4012 error code at the ECS level, and no CDR should be generated.
Please advise on how to implement this?
