While Configuring Output(SMTP) Email Settings on Port 25, the Test Connection Fails (Doc ID 3062096.1)

Symptoms

While configuring Output(SMTP) Email settings on port 25, the test connection fails. In the log, the port is shown as 110.

ERROR
-----------------------
'Test failed'
.MailConnectException: Couldn't connect to host, port: 10.142.176.146, 110; timeout 5000;

STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Open Unifier Primavera Configurator (weblogic).
  2. Set Output(SMTP) Email settings as port 25 in Email tab.
  3. Now Test Outbound Connection and observe 'Test failed' error.
