Questions On Metric Ping Latency Poller Service Running In Cluster Mode (Doc ID 3063199.1)

Goal

On : Oracle Communications Unified Assurance 6.0.5 version

According to documentation, the service balances the load by distributing polled devices among servers which run the service's instances.

We would like to know more details about the dynamics of this mechanism:

Q1. Does the service re-balance itself periodically and if yes, what triggers re-balancing?
Q2. What happens if we add ( or delete ), say, several hundred new devices, will the service re-distribute new devices on its own, or a restart of the service is required?
Q3. Is there a way to find which device is polled by which server/instance, or which subset of devices is being polled by which server/instance at any given time? We found entries in service's log file, but this approach is inconvenient as we never know on which server we should look for data?
