Symptoms

Unable to start the AutoVue server 21.1.0.2 (2D or Office) after installing Wine 64 bit on Linux 7. The AutoVue console will appear but some of the doc servers are never initializing properly. The AutoVue server processes are red or yellow:

Getting this warning in the AutoVue server log file: DocServer 1: wine: Bad EXE format for <path>\bin\libDocserver.so.

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Install wine 64 bit (wine-4.0.4-1.el8.x86_64) on Linux 7
  2. Install AutoVue server 21.1.0.2 (2D or Office).
  3. Start the AutoVue server (./jvueserver)
  4. Notice the AutoVue server is not starting up properly.
  5. Look at the AutoVue server logs (located in "<AutoVue install dir>/bin/Logs").
