Symptoms

When users log in to P6 Professional with the Startup Filters set to "Current project data only", regardless of whether Resource summary data is checked or unchecked, only a few Project level Activity Codes are returned when assigning codes.
When the Startup Filters are set to "View all data (No Filter)", all of the Project Level Activity Codes for the project are visible when assigning codes.
When set to "Current project data only", for those Project level Activity Codes that are not populated, it is possible to create duplicate Project level Activity Codes.

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR

When users log in to P6 Professional with the Startup Filters set to "Current project data only", all of the Project Level Activity Codes for the project should be visible when assigning codes and duplicate codes should not be allowed.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Log-on to P6 Professional with the Startup Filters set to "Current project data only".
  2. Open the project.
  3. Try to assign a Project level Activity Code.
  4. Notice only a small number of Project Level Activity Codes are available.
  5. Log-onto P6 Web to view all of the Project Level Activity Codes for this project.
  6. In P6Professional, try to add a code that is not present there but resent in P6 Web.
  7. New code is created in P6pr but when page is refreshed in P6 Web there is now a duplicate.
