Symptoms
For OFSAA 8.1.2.3, in Common Object Maintenance > Rate Management > Interest Rates, in the Historical Rates screen, some term points are loaded with a null value. If a user edits the date /term point in the Historical Rates screen and then Saves, the date / term point is populated with the value Zero. This results in an incorrect interpolation of rates. With a null value, the rate is skipped. With a zero value, the interpolation is done using the 0 value.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE THE ISSUE
---------------------------------------------
1. Edit an interest Rate Code in FSI_IRC_RATE_HIST and set a date / term point to have INTEREST_RATE = NULL.
2. View the term point in Rate Management > Interest Rates > Historical Rates. It is displayed as null.
3. Click on the Save button
4. Review the date / term point in FSI_IRC_RATE_HIST. INTEREST_RATE is now populated with 0 instead of NULL
