Implementation Dock Date And Implementation Date Are Different For Work Order Reschedules (Doc ID 3066966.1)

Last updated on JANUARY 10, 2025

Applies to:

Oracle Advanced Supply Chain Planning - Version 12.2.6 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

With the below profiles setup:

MSC: Include Postprocessing lead time when planning for make items to Yes.

MSC: Release dock date as work order completion date for items with post processing lead time to Yes

When attempting to release a reschedule recommendation on WO, the completion date on work order is different than the Implement Date from ASCP.

Example:

  1. Plan has a suggested due date of 24-Sep-2024 00:00:00.
  2. Customer checks the work order for release and change the implement date to 26-Sep-2024 23:59:00. Observe that the Implement Dock Date is populated as 26-Sep-2024 00:00:00 hrs.
  3. Releases the the reschedule recommendation of work order.
  4. Log file of WIP Mass load shows the completion date of WO as 26-Sep-2024 00:00:00 hrs.
  5. However the completion date on the work order is stamped to 25-Sep-2024 23:59:00 causing the work order completion date to be one day earlier than the expected date.

Expect the implement date in ASCP to be the WO completion date in EBS.
