Symptoms

When installing P6 Professional using the P6 Professional setup utility, the following error occurs:
The operation you requested failed with status code -2147023278.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Install P6 Professional using P6ProfessionalSetup.exe.
  2. Observe the error.
