Question About Updating TLM Connection to Group (LAG) Connection or Moving Virtual Connections (Doc ID 3069055.1)

This document provides a solution to perform a mass update in the MetaSolv Solution application to reflect a change that occurred in the field where a parent TLM connection was upgraded to a LAG type connection.


These are the existing TLM circuits

101 /XXX /A_CLLICODE1/Z_CLLICODE1 – 61 child virtuals
101 /XXX /A_CLLICODE2/Z_CLLICODE2 – 43 child virtuals

 
In this case, the end points would remain the same. Because of this, along with the child circuits being virtual connections, it appears the Rehome and Regroom tools will not work for this scenario. The Circuit Engineering group wants to know if there is a way to either change a TLM type connection to a LAG connection or move virtual connections from a TLM to a LAG.
