Last updated on FEBRUARY 04, 2025

Applies to:

Oracle Financial Services Revenue Management and Billing Cloud Service - Version 5.1.0.0.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

On RMB v5.1.0.0.0, Import through CMA is not working as expected.

We are facing issues with the import process from the Content Migration Assistant, formerly known as Configuration Migration Assistant (CMA). Our goal is to import configurations, including Business Objects and other related entities, which are linked to lifecycle algorithms and scripts. Despite both the source and target environments operating on same RMB version, we encounter errors during the application of CMA in the target environment:

- The algorithm type fails due to the absence of the script.
- The algorithm fails because its algorithm type is missing.
- The script cannot find the associated Business Object.
- The Business Object fails due to the missing algorithm.

For the source migration request, only the Business Object (BO) is provided, and other dependent components are automatically fetched in the RMB environment.
Everything exists in the CMA export file. Still it is failing for dependent components not exist.

Below is the sequence of batches we are executing while doing CMA import.
1. F1-MGDIM
2. F1-MGOPR
3. F1-MGTPR
4. F1-MGDIM
5. F1-MGOAP
6. F1-MGTAP

Migration plan used is F1-BusinessObject.
Migration request involves CM objects.
Migration request for base provided BO (C1-AccountBO) works possibly for being present in both source and target environments.

Please advise what to do when it involves CM object.
