Event Java Process Extension (PX) Fails to Catch 'java.lang.NullPointerException' after RUP19 Upgrade (Doc ID 3070119.1)

Symptoms

Workflow Change Status event fails.

When Change is moved to next status the event fails with error in server logs.

"--invoke-- Error occurred when running Handler:xxx"

The same code worked fine in Previous releases.


The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Login to Web Client. http(s)://<FQDN>:<port>/Agile/PLMServlet
2. Go to a Change and move to next status.
3. The Event PX fails with error.

Changes

 Upgraded to RUP 19 release.
